Tickets & Registration

Individual tickets are $50 and may include up to 3 children under age five.
Sponsorships which include tickets and additional perks are also available.

No, all tickets must be purchased in advance. Purchase tickets here.

No, there are no printed tickets or QR codes. You will check-in at a registration table when you arrive.

All sales are final. If you can’t attend, or the event is canceled, your ticket purchase will be considered a donation to support the Stillwater Public Library.

Tickets are transferable up until July 2. You must email us at splf@stillwaterlibraryfoundation.org by July 2, so registration forms and name tags can be updated.

Only Roman Candle sponsors receive a reserved table with seating for eight people.
General admission includes open seating on a first-come basis.

Yes, Light a Spark sponsorship levels provide VIP perks including tickets, recognition during the event, and reserved parking. See our sponsorship page for more details.

Due to IRS rules, DAFs can not be used for ticket purchases. This includes bifurcated or “split” gifts* where a donor pays for the non-tax-deductible portion of the admission fee out of pocket, and then recommends the tax-deductible portion from their fund.

Arrival & Parking

General admission - enter through the 3rd Street or 4th Street entrance.
Sponsors and guests with reserved parking, enter through the library ramp entrance. The library ramp entrance opens at 7:00 p.m.
Check-in tables will be located on the upper level of the library.

Doors open at 7:30 PM
Dinner buffet will be available 7:30 - 9:00 PM

Street parking is available during Light a Spark.
Library ramp has limited parking spaces available for purchase here.
Sponsor parking spaces are pre-assigned and in the library ramp.
Accessible parking is available in the 3rd Street Ramp and one parking space in the 4th Street lot next to the library. Please contact us at splf@stillwaterlibraryfoundation.org to reserve an accessible space.
Food & Beverage

Enjoy a traditional July 4th buffet provided by The Grand.

Dessert: Ice pops from Sticks, the Ice Pop Shop
Pelase Note: Complimentary food and nonalcoholic beverages will be provided. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

Wine and beer will be for sale. Wristbands will be issued at the information table for those 21 years of age and over.

Yes, credit cards will be accepted to purchase alcoholic beverages.

Dress for a casual, family friendly event. We recommend dressing in layers - Minnesota evenings can get chilly.

All you need is to dress for the weather.
We’ll have seating, so no need to bring a lawn chair or blanket. All food and beverages will be provided.

For the comfort and safety of all guests, we ask that pets stay home. Service animals are welcome.

Yes, the library restrooms will be available.

If the event is canceled you will be notified through email. We will post additional cancellation information on our website and Facebook page.
All ticket sales are final and if cancellation is necessary, your ticket purchase will be considered a donation to support the Stillwater Public Library.
